How It WorksYoull breathe easier knowing that this True HEPA Air Purifier removes 99.97% of airborne contaminants in your home. Vornado also uses whole room purification technology to circulate and purify all the air in the room, not just the air near the unit.Additional FeaturesThe AC300 features filter replacement indicators for both the HEPA and Carbon filters to help ensure peak performance.Filter ChangesTo replace the filters, remove the front panel as well as the plastic support filter frame by bending and pulling out. Pull anywhere on the carbon filter to remove, and pull on the tab on the edge of the HEPA filter to remove. Place new filter in, replace plastic support filter frame into the four tabs, and replace the front panel. To reset the filter indicator lights, simply hold the button next to the indicator light down for at least 3 seconds. Carbon filters should be replaced approximately every six months, and HEPA filter should be replaced annually.Air Flow and PositioningAir is pulled in from the sides of the purifier and clean air is pushed out the top. Therefore, this unit can be place flush against a wall but should have the sides and top clear.
