HOW IT WORKSThe AC4220 3-in-1 Dual Position Air Cleaning System uses HEPA and charcoal PCO filters as well as UV-C light. Improve your indoor air quality by capturing 99.97% of particles down to 0.3 microns in size with this air purifier. The True HEPA filter captures pollen, dust mites, pet dander and mold. Doctors recommend HEPA air filtration to reduce exposure to indoor asthma triggers. The charcoal filter reduces common household odors from the air from pets, smoking, and cooking. Finally, the UV light works to kill germs and bacteria.ADDITIONAL FEATURESChoose from 3 speeds and turn UV-C on/off as desired. There is also a dial on the rear of the purifier to remind you when to change your filter.FILTER CHANGESThe filter should be cleaned monthly with the brush attachment of your vacuum cleaner and replaced approximately every 6 months. Use the dial on the back of the air purifier to remind yourself when the filter should be replaced. No tools are required for changing the filter.The UV-C bulb should be replaced every 10-12 months. A small Philips head screwdriver is needed to remove the UV-C Shield when replacing the bulb.AIR FLOW AND POSITIONINGThe AC4220 Air Purifier can be placed vertically or horizontally to fit your space.
