How It WorksThe Electrolux Oxygen Ultra with PlasmaWave utilizes a carbon filter to collect large particles such as dust, hair, and lint as well as odors caused by cigarette smoke, organic decay and cooking. Then a HEPA Filter captures 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns, including smoke, dust, and pet dander. In the final stage, air is cleaned by PlasmaWave Technology. PlasmaWave generates both positive and negative ions to create plasma clusters that instantly neutralize viruses, bacteria, chemical vapors, and odors.Additional FeaturesAn odor sensor monitors air quality and changes fan speeds to adjust accordingly. A filter indicator light lets you know when to change the HEPA filter, and remote control allows you to easily change the settings on your air purifier.Filter ChangesThe HEPA Filter should be changed annually, when the indicator notifies you. The carbon filter should be replaced every three months.
